The Nomada Urban Beach Hostel staff periodically takes on volunteers from all over the world who live and work in the hostel.

The past six months, Sonia (second from the right) has been working at the hostel reception, spreading her laughter and making sure our guests have a fun time. She will be going back to her home country Spain. She will be missed.

The past two months Shaun (second from the left) from New York City have been helping out in reception, and helping out with late check-ins since he is the night owl of the group. We are hoping he will be back after returning from visiting with his family in New York.

We welcome a new volunteer Victoria (first from the right) who has recently moved to Puerto Rico and who already has a lot of experience in running hostels in San Juan.

The past month Nya (first from left) has been the in-house IT help, working on improving the booking system and building the hostel’s new website, which is what you are looking at. She will be going back to New York, where she currently lives.
