WHAT IS A HOSTEL?
Traditionally, hostels offer affordable accommodations and are known for their spirit of community and comradery.
Undoubtedly, you’ll create new friendships and meet fellow nomads from different countries and cultures!
What payment methods DO you accept?
Nómada Hostels accepts major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Mobile ATH (ATH Móvil) and PayPal.
Please note that payment is upon arrival and Nómada may pre-authorize your credit card. Taxes are not included in our prices.
ARE YOU NEAR old SAN JUAN?
Yes! We are 10 minutes away from the Puerto Rico’s oldest settlement and San Juan’s historic colonial district.
HOW FAR ARE YOU FROM THE AIRPORT?
Nómada Urban Beach Hostel is located 4 miles from the SJU Airport.
Nómada Beach Hostel is located 3 miles from the SJU Airport.
WHAT ARE THE TRANSPORT OPTIONS IN SAN JUAN?
Our team recommends four primary transportation options: uber, taxi, car rental (book in advance), or bus.
Exact change is required to ride the bus and we recommend the Moovit app for local bus routes and hours.
DO YOU HAVE PARKING?
Free street parking is available but limited. Nómada Hostels is not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles parked on the street.
IS THERE A CURFEW OR LOCKOUT?
No, we love freedom! You can come and go as you like.
However, we expect everyone to practice mindfulness and abide by the set quiet hours, beginning at 10:00 pm.
ARE VISITORS ALLOWED?
Yes, each guest is allowed to bring one visitor into the lobby and common areas.
All visitors must sign-in upon arrival and sign-out before 10:00 pm. For the safety and security of all our guests, there are absolutely no exceptions to this rule.
ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE HOSTEL?
Due to the nature of the hostel environment, we do not accept guests under the age of 18; no exceptions.

ARE YOU PET FRIENDLY?
We love pets but for the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are prohibited.
OTHER POLICIES AND CONDITIONS
- Check-in is from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Check-out is 11:00 am.
- Cancellation policy is 72hrs before arrival.
- Security deposit: A $75 deposit on the credit card to cover the costs of equipment, furniture or articles damaged ($25.00 for ripped or lost towels, $50.00 for ripped or lost blankets, $50.00 for ripped or lost sheets)
- Smoking and e-cigarettes are not allowed in the rooms or common areas, but we do have designated smoking areas.
