Privacy Policy

The Privacy Policy includes any information in which Nomada Urban Beach Hostel and Nomada Beach Hostel collects in connection with the operation of its website, online services, and on-property Check-In. The policy also includes how collected information is used and how guests may access and/or correct collected information.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

You can access some areas of the site and services without submitting any personal identifying information. Nomada Hostels only collects personal identifying information upon the completion of any online forms from bookings, contact us forms, feedback forms or social media postings and comments.

  1. Bookings

    In order to complete a booking with Nomada Hostels, guests or group is transferred to a third-party website which requires the release of the following personal information: first and last name, email address, address (including city, state, and country), telephone number and guest agreement form. Nomada Hostels uses booking.com, expedia.com, and hostelworld.com as booking services. These companies operate with their privacy policies, for more information please go to their privacy policy links above. To make a booking requires a credit card number that will be charged 100% anytime once the reservation is completed. Cash Payments and prepaid credit cards are not accepted, a valid credit card only, no exceptions.

  2. Contact Us

    Nomada Hostels asks that no personally identifiable or sensitive information is given via the ‘contact us’ link, and holds no responsibility for the safety of information given by that manner. If at any time, you need to edit the information made on a reservation that is not related to the date, room type, or number of guests, please contact us at reception@nomadahostels.com and include the reservation number in the email.

  3. Feedback

    Customer feedback is always appreciated by the staff at Nomada Hostels. Customer feedback via our website requires no personal identifying information. However, any event(s) that could demand further investigative action, guests are required to provide the following information: name, date of stay, date of incident, and contact information. Failure of any guest(s) to provide information following the incident may result in a “case drop” and/or the designation of “flagged guest” status. “Flagged guests” may lose the privilege to return to Nomada Hostels.

  4. Social Media

    Nomada Hostels uses several outlets of Social Media, including: Facebook, Instagram, Blog, and Linkedin. Choosing to follow Nomada Hostels does not require the input of personal information, but does give Nomada access to the personal information available via these websites. Nomada Hostels reserves the right to use pictures taken in the common areas in Nomada Social Media accounts, if a guest does not want their picture/s shared on our Social Media accounts they must notify us during their stay. Any violation of policies related to each individual website will be handled by their administrators and not those of Nomada Hostels. However, Nomada Hostels does reserve the right to keep their social media pages free of any solicitation from other businesses, third party promotions, political associations, and illegal drug use and under-aged alcohol consumption.

  5. Deposits

    Before arrival date, guests must complete the guest agreement form and attach a valid photo ID, along with the credit card used for the reservation. All reservations will require a Security Room Deposit registered on a valid credit card: $75 dollars for all Private/Semi-Private Rooms, and $50 for the Dormitories. Payments to all reservations will be collected with a valid credit card registered on file. Other accepted forms of payments will be ATH Movil or PayPal, this payment option will be solely to cover the reservation cost prior to arrival date. All security deposit will be exclusively collected with valid credit card, NO pre-paid cards or cash, No exceptions.

Terms and Conditions

Late arrival/ Late Check-Out

  1. Guests expecting to arrive between the hours of 11pm – 7 am are considered late arrival. Guests arriving after 11pm will be charged a fee of $10 for late check-ins. Our staff here at Nomada Hostels are well traveled and understand the difficulties that can arise in the process. As such we are more than willing to accommodate your arrival time given that we are warned with sufficient notice. Please double check your ETA and contact us immediately with any changes that will put your arrival outside of front desk hours.
  2. If a guest’s arrival time runs late enough into the morning to be considered the next day guests will still be charged the full day rate.
  3. Likewise, both early and late arrivals will be guaranteed space to store their luggage. However, space to sleep and storage/use in the kitchen will depend upon the occupancy of the hostel.
  4. Guest will be expected to confirm their check-out on or before 11am. All late check-out will be charged with a $10 fee, the according fee will be accepted until 1:30pm. In order to stay in the room after 1:30pm, the guest will have to verify with the reception clerk if the room is available. All extended stays after 1:30pm will be charged for the regular rate per night (subject to availability).


  1. Individual guests can cancel up to 48 hours in advance without penalty and will be refunded immediately upon confirmation of the cancellation. Individual cancellations made 24 or 48 hours before arrival will be refunded 50% of their booking. Individuals will not be refunded for cancellations made less than 24 hours before first day of arrival. Last minute bookings (made 4 hours before arrival) can be cancelled without any penalties, if the guest request cancellation before arriving. Any cancellation under the selection of non-refundable rate will not be refundable, no exception apply to this selection.
  2. If guests have booked with a third party such as booking.com or expedia.com, cancellation fees may apply according to their policies, but will have no affiliation or shared fees with Nomada Hostels. Group bookings of ten or more guests are fifty percent refundable one week prior to the arrival date. Cancellations of group bookings made 72 to 48 hours prior to the first day of arrival are subject to a cancellation fee of eighty percent of the full reservation price. Group bookings are non-refundable 48 to 24 hours before the arrival date.
  3. Group bookings of ten or more guests who leave before the completion of reservation are required to pay the full reservation price for any remaining days.
  4. Individual guests who leave before the completion of reservation are required to pay the full reservation price on any remaining days.
  5. Guests or groups forced to leave Nomada Hostels earlier than their departure date due to non-compliance to hostel rules, federal or state laws, or who are considered a threat to other hostel guests and/or property will not be refunded any amount already paid.
  6. In case of no-show – if a guest or group does not show up for their reservation the room will be charged in full.

Property Damages

  1. Nomada Hostels reserves the right to use individual guests credit card deposit for any property damages up to the amount of $150 and any difference in the amount of damage incurred.
  2. Groups of 10+ credit card deposit for any property damages up to the amount of $500 and any difference in the amount of damage incurred.
  3. Entire hostel credit card deposit for any property damages up to the amount of $750 and any difference in the amount of damage incurred. The guest will be notified of any property damage charges through the contact information given during booking.


  1. Due to the nature of the hostel environment, no minors under the age of 18 years old are permitted to stay at Nomada Hostels.

Guarantee policy

All guests of Nomada Hostels are guaranteed the services advertised on our website. This does not include services or amenities advertised by third-party websites.

  1. Nomada Hostels reserves the right to restrict access to the Rooftop Terrace to any guest exhibiting belligerent behavior from excessive drinking. For your safety and that of other guests, anyone not complying with this rule may be asked to leave without a refund.
    1. Each guest at Nomada Hostels is allowed 1 outside visitor to enter into the common areas of the property until 10 pm. Upon arrival, visitors MUST SIGN IN AT RECEPTION and comply with the rules of our establishment.
      1. Upon sign-in, the hostel guest takes full responsibility for the visitor and any damage done due to the property, furnishings and fixtures.
    2. Likewise, any room booked with Nomada Hostels will be the same room received by the guest on arrival, as our company does not allow overbooking on any website at any time.
    3. We try our best to work with neighboring businesses to provide our guests with parking, but cannot guarantee parking around the building.

Hostel Rules and Regulations

At Nomada Hostels, we strive to create a fun and safe environment for both our guests and community to enjoy. Our hostels provide multiple common areas and the following rules and regulations are established for the safety and privacy of our guests.

  1. Quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM in all other areas.
  2. The Rooftop terrace ‘quiet hours’ are from 10-pm to 8am during the week and until midnight Fridays and Saturdays. For the convenience of guests who have to wake up early or are exhausted from their journey, Nomada Hostels appreciates your understanding of quiet hours between 10pm – 8 am.
  3. Nomada allows the consumption of alcohol on property, but strictly forbids the use of any illegal drugs or underage drinking.
  4. Smoking is only allowed in the rooftop terrace.
  5. Due to the winding staircase and side rails leading up to the Rooftop terrace, all visitors must be of 18 years of age or older.
  6. At no time is ANY visitor allowed to enter the rooms. Visitors must remain in the common areas, except for visitors visiting guests who have private rooms. Guests found in violation of this policy will be asked to leave Nomada Hostels immediately without refund.
  7. In order to avoid issues and for the overall respect of your roommates, sexual activities are strictly prohibited in the shared dorm rooms. If you would like to participate in such activities, Nomada Hostels offers private rooms that you may upgrade to throughout your stay.
